18 U.S.C. § 2257 compliance
Last updated: 2026-05-15
18 U.S.C. § 2257 is a United States federal law requiring producers of sexually explicit visual content to maintain records verifying the age of all performers depicted. This page documents Sexnomad's position with respect to that law.
Our role
Sexnomad.com is an editorial review and reference site. We do not produce, host, or distribute sexually explicit visual content as defined by 18 U.S.C. § 2257. We publish written reviews, guides, and analyses of third-party adult-entertainment platforms.
2257 record-keeping
Because Sexnomad does not engage in any activity covered by the law, we have no 2257 record-keeping obligations. We are not a producer (primary or secondary) of any visual depictions of actual sexually explicit conduct.
Third-party platforms
Platforms we review are independently responsible for their own 2257 compliance. Any visual content visible on those platforms is produced and maintained by the platform and its content partners — not by Sexnomad. Concerns about third-party platform compliance should be directed to those platforms or to United States law enforcement.
